How would Carbonhand help?

With Carbonhand, you receive support exactly when you need it. The glove detects when you begin to grip and delivers assistance in proportion to your own effort, allowing your hand to remain in control while the glove compensates for lost strength. As a result, you can hold, lift, and manipulate objects more securely, with less effort and reduced fatigue.

Everyday activities that may feel difficult or exhausting, at home, at work, or during leisure, become easier and more manageable. By supporting your natural movements in real-world tasks, Carbonhand helps you stay independent, conserve energy, and regain confidence in what your hands can do.

Could Carbonhand help you?

Carbonhand could help if you:

  • Have reduced grip strength and/or limited hand endurance
  • Are able to initiate a grasp and release
  • Experience functional limitations in activities of daily living (ADL), work, or leisure tasks
  • Are motivated to use an assistive device in everyday life

Carbonhand is generally not beneficial if you:

  • Lack the ability to initiate voluntary finger flexion
  • Have complete paralysis of the hand
  • Have severe joint contractures or deformities that prevent proper fitting

Mats suffered thrombosis in his arm after surgery and lost almost all grip strength. This made it difficult for him to perform everyday activities and complete rehabilitation training. Thanks to the increased grip strength provided by Carbonhand, he can perform daily activities and be more independent. Most importantly, he can be more active with his children.
