Kliniska studier

A brief summary: A total number of 7 clinics in the Netherlands are involved in this study. The aim of the trial is to confirm the results from the different studies by an approved clinical trial that meets all existing and new regulation for clinical trials. The following are the objective:

Therapeutic effect of prolonged use of a wearable soft-robotic glove during activities of daily living (ADL) on reduced hand function.

Primary Objective:

• To examine whether prolonged use of the assistive Carbonhand© system during ADL at home results in a therapeutic effect in handgrip strength of the affected hand.

Secondary Objective(s):

• To examine whether prolonged use of the assistive Carbonhand© system during ADL at home results in a therapeutic effect in endurance of the affected hand.

• To examine whether prolonged use of the assistive Carbonhand© system during ADL at home results in improved functional performance of the affected hand.

• To examine the amount of use of the hand and Carbonhand© system during the intervention period.

• To examine whether prolonged use of the assistive Carbonhand© system during ADL at home results in an improved Quality of Life.
